I've trained with Joe Ertle (St Paul) and Bob Fusaro (Mpls). The syle is Shotokan (Japanese). These two are among the best in the world and know how to teach karate. The lessons are a work-out, and you're constantly trying to learn something. Belt advancement is hard, but when you move on to a new level, it's very satisfying because you know you've earned it.
